The Shelter Link works with veterinarians licensed in multiple states with experiences working as shelter veterinarians in a wide variety of municipal and private organizations, developing shelter medicine and surgery programs, consulting for humane organizations, leading community outreach and HQHVSN clinics, working with veterinary forensics and large-scale humane law enforcement cases. They are passionate about expanding access to care through shelter and community medicine programs and maintain their skillsets with “boots on the ground” surgery, vaccine, and accessible care clinic work on a regular basis, as well as participation in state- and nationwide shelter organized veterinary medicine and legislative conversations.
